Title: Jaboticaba Thirst Quencher

1pkJaboticabas, punnet, washed
  Water
1tbHoney

Put the jaboticabas into a saucepasn and pour over enough water to almost cover them. Bring the water to the boil and then simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, cover and leave to macerate overnight.

The next day mash the fruit and bring the mixture to the boil. Pour in to a jelly bag and leave to drain for a few hours until it has stopped dripping. [If you do not have a jelly bag, pour it through a muslin-lined sieve placed over a bowl.

Keep the juice refridgerated.

Makes about 2 cups. Serve chilled.
